HOW IT WORKSFrom the Point of Agreement, start-up time to begin manufacturing typically takes four to eight weeks. North American’s professional assistance is especially valuable in the critical path areas of HIRING the production team for your manufacturing operation and SECURING and IMPROVING the selected facility. During the most difficult times, we are with you on your work site. We are there before the first employee arrives, and stay with you through the learning curve of your operation. ![]() Under a shelter agreement, North American coordinates all of the start-up management functions and ongoing manufacturing groundwork in Mexico. We acquire all of the Mexican permits, set up the legal infrastructure, provide the U.S. and Mexican customs workups, traffic management, routing, delivery, and facilities search negotiations. North American also provides accounting functions such as general ledger, fiscal reporting and declaration, administration of tax payments and refunds, Mexican banking and vendor payables.
Your company supplies the raw materials, which are assembled and/or manufactured by the employees that North American hires,
using the equipment you have supplied, to produce your product. Your finished product then proceeds through customs and leaves
Mexico for the United States.
